Things I Love...About Me

Last Tuesday I starting the 30 Days of Truth, um, thing, and I had to tell you about the things I hate about myself. You can read that post here. Today I get to tell you something I love about myself. Don't worry, I've narrowed it down to just a few things, or else we would be here all damn day!

I really do love me. Other than some pretty normal insecurities, I'm confident in who I am and don't plan on changing anytime soon. Although some people may not like my snarky attitude and foul mouth, they are part of what makes me stand apart from those around me so I love those characteristics. I'm also incredible emotional, which is a good and bad thing. I sometimes cry in really awkward moments when I really have no reason to be crying, and I could do without that, but in general I love that the world hasn't hardened me. I'm not afraid to shed tears and show myself, even if I feel a little embarrassed.

I also love my dimples. I wouldn't trade them for anything!

Please come back next Tuesday, the topic is "Something you have to forgive yourself for".

Great post! It's awesome that you have great confidence, I wish I could say the same about myself. I think it's a great trait to have and a great lesson to share!

I'm an emotional person too and I always think it's a good thing. Better to get it out than to keep things bottled up!

Clearly, you are awesome.

I love the post title... and the post! I like that you embrace your tendency to be emotional. Every now and then I get emotional over things that I KNOW aren't a big deal or life-altering, but I can't help it. Maybe I should learn to appreciate that part of me a little more, because I definitely agree that it's nice to know we aren't totally hardened by a sometimes cold world.

Thanks ladies! I've tried really hard over the last few years to focus more on my insecurities and less on what is wrong with other people. And it has really helped me love myself a lot more. It feels good :)
