This is what it looks like inside the mind of a partially crazy, hopefully funny, sometimes angry, usually happy, always loving mommy, wife, and friend.

My Very 1st Ever Vlog!!!
Ok guys, I did it. I finally vlogged!! I am so excited that I did this so please watch it and love it. Also, keep in mind that I taped this myself on my iPhone and I did it 1st thing in the morning so A. It's a little wobbly B. I look like I just rolled out of bed because I did just roll out of bed and C. I screw up thing camera angle a few times and it isn't flattering, so ignore the inside of my nose and all of my chins. Thanks!
I wish there was enough snow that we could actually play in it, but movies and hot chocolate are good too :). I'd love a good Steamboat snow right now. My sister is living up there and I've never missed the slopes so much!
I think that is too funny that you had a snow day today! We got close to 5" (I think) of snow last night, and my son still had school this morning. Joys of living in central IL. Growing up we rarely had snow days, I think you needed at least 9" of snow, and it seems like they have them more often now! Loved your Vlog by the way!
Thanks! Every time school is cancelled it still surprised me a little bit because I keep thinking the district will realize how ridiculous it is, but I guess not yet. A bunch of people in the area have lost power too, VA needs to update their systems!
I was going to comment, but apparently if I don't love everything you say, your opinion is that I have a stick up my ass, so never mind. If that's your attitude, then I really don't need to hear what you have to say.
Loved your post this morning and it was good to see you! There's nothing better than rushing to judgement where Mother Nature is concerned, and the Commonwealth might want to check the sky because the forecast from Chicken Little is that it's going to fall!
Very amusing. Lived in Minnesota and snow days rarely happened there either, but they had EQUIPMENT. By 7am the roads were ploughed. If you could just get past the huge pile of snow at the end of your driveway.
I found your great blog through the WLC Blog Follows on the World Literary Cafe! Great to connect! I hope you stop by to visit me at http://www.scheherazade-thewritinglife.blogspot.com/
Thanks for stopping by! I've seen 1 snow plow here, but they aren't even necessary. Not a flake from this last storm even stuck to the road! But my in laws live in MN, and I'll take a VA winter any day over that!!

I love the Vlog, by the way. You're braver than I. :)
Thanks!! I was really nervous about posting it. It's way easier to hide behind my computer screen than to show my face! Thanks for stopping by, I'm heading to check out your stuff now :)
Great Vlog Annie! I live in NY, when I was a kid a took more than a couple inches before they closed school, now it seems they close it on a whim, like you said. Last year I was in GA for a snow storm, about 6 inches, and the schools were shut down for a week, but they didn't have any trucks to plow the roads or salt for them either, it turned into big patches of ice. I was out shopping the night it was snowing and all the stores were closing and it was only 6 pm!
Hi Annie, I just nominated you for the Leibster Award! Check out my blog to see how it works, it's a lot of fun! Hope all is well! Thanks, Wayne http://waynelmurphy.blogspot.com/

So..anonymous...don't read it...or not care what people think of your opinions..the way regular folks who post their names do.

Boom! Thanks :)
Lol! I'm beginning to think they get all their weather info from Chicken little :)
